RESEARCH INTERESTS

Current research interests are on the use of power electronics converters in power systems and in particular on the integration and interfacing of power electronics to the grid. Specific topics of research at present include the the role of solid state transformers in the distribution grid, virtual synchronous machine control for inverters and the development of real time simulation with power hardware in the loop.
