RESEARCH INTERESTS
My overarching research interest is understanding the role of education in creating more just, peaceful and sustainable societies and empowering children and young people as critical and active citizens In particular, I am interested in:
- Children's rights and human rights education
- Social justice education and critical pedagogy
- Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in education
- Citizenship and political participation in the digital environment.
- Ecopedagogy, climate change and education for sustainable development.
