MrsGeraldine Redmond

Geraldine Redmond is an Assistant Professor in Radiography and Diagnostic Imaging at the UCD School of Medicine. She joined UCD in April 2023 following 23 years of clinical practice in Ireland and the UK, bringing extensive clinical experience across a range of diagnostic imaging specialties. Her previous roles include MRI Clinical Specialist Radiographer, Acting Superintendent Radiographer, Senior Radiographer in Mammography and Education Coordinator. She is currently the Stage 2 Coordinator and Stage 2 Clinical Coordinator for the undergraduate BSc Radiography programme. Her academic role is informed by her commitment to clinical excellence, the development of future radiographers and the integration of academic learning with clinical practice.
