RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research interests are broad in scope but centre on the areas of:
i) socio-economic analysis of flood risk;
ii) environmental economics; environmental valuation
iii) happiness and environment; economics of welfare;
iv) survey design and implementation;
v) European Union Environmental Policy;
Within UCD Environmental Policy, I am collaborating with colleagues on the development of a cluster of expertise on such topics as vulnerability, resilience and adaptation to flooding; quality of life; spatial analysis and GIS, and environmental valuation.
